new boxes from old boxes
The most sustainable packaging is made from material that already exists.
rebox.eco® champions the circular economy by transforming redundant packaging into premium e-commerce boxes through our specialist micro-factory.
Every box we create prevents a new one from being manufactured and a used one from being wasted which reduces the extraction of natural resources that saves water, energy, and trees.
It’s a sustainable shift that research shows consumers value, proving that the most responsible choice for your brand is keeping precious materials in use for as long as possible

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s our simple way of describing a circular approach to packaging. We intercept high-grade industrial cardboard before it hits the recycling bin and re-engineer it into premium, right-sized ecommerce packaging.
Instead of sending used cardboard through the best-case recycling process, which uses vast amounts of energy, water and chemicals, we intervene early to keep high-quality materials in the loop.
Capture: We rescue high-quality, heavy-duty shipping boxes from large logistics firms before they become waste.
Transform: Using innovative design and processing to convert that strong, post-industrial material into brand-new, smaller ecommerce boxes.
Save: By keeping the original material in use for longer, we prevent the manufacture of new boxes which saves trees, energy, and water whilst reducing waste
It's not just a box you are choosing but a circular solution that our customers value and an award winning concept recognised by Core77, Pentawards and the IOM3 Sustainable Future.

No. We source exclusively from clean, climate-controlled B2B environments.
The [rebox.eco] model is built on high-standards that prioritise cleanliness, safety and structural integrity. Our raw materials are sourced from controlled environments to ensure professional and reliable end-product every time.
Sourcing: Materials are recovered primarily from B2B warehouse transfers not kerbside waste. These boxes have been kept in dry, climate-controlled environments, protected from the weather.
Quality: The principles of our conversion process mirrors traditional manufacturing where every unit undergoes a quality control to ensure it meets high expectations of cleanliness, function and aesthetics.
Comparison: While the material has a past life, the cardboard remains crisp and rigid. Most of our products are indistinguishable from new production.
Circularity is intrinsic to the [rebox.eco] products and some of our products authentically celebrate that with minor cosmetic variations, such as slight indents. Where this occurs, standards and tolerances will be agreed upfront with the guarantee they have no impact on the protection of your products.

They’ll love it! 70% of shoppers report a better opinion of brands that use circular packaging, viewing and imperfections as proof of your sustainability claims.
Our research shows that consumers are more than ready for circular packaging that reflects the values of a brand they are purchasing from. Our real-world testing with e-commerce shoppers revealed some great results:
Function: 90% of participants rated the performance of the reused packaging as excellent.
Perception: 70% of customers reported a better opinion of a brand once they knew the story behind the box.
Purchase intent: 85% of respondents said they would happily buy products that arrived in our reused packaging.
You become a circular economy champion by reusing materials in this way. We have many consumer stories that show how a repurposed box made a brand’s sustainability claims feel more real. We also have our own customer experiences that tell the positive story of working with [rebox.eco] and our products.

Our laser branding technology is a high-contrast, beautiful, ink-free alternative to printing, though it offers a unique aesthetic that varies slightly from traditional ink-on-paper.
Substrate: Unlike printing, laser etching precision etches the fibre to reveal a high contrast aesthetic. This typically creates a white effect but the final look depends on the base paper material which can vary.
Striking: Big, bold text, solid logos and patterns create the best effect - we have great examples to share
Detail: Although the laser marking is extremely high resolution, small text, complex QR codes or barcodes may require enlarging or negative blocking to remain legible/functional and it is suggested that legally required text is applied
This marking technology is unique for packaging and therefore may require some tweaking to reach your desired effect but we are confident that we can find the perfect balance of a stunning design on a sustainable package at a great price.

By bypassing the energy-intensive pulping process of traditional recycling, we keep material in its highest-value state and support a transition to the circular economy
We believe in transparency and know where we sit in the waste hierarchy but don't have the formal quantification yet. Our core principle is simple: use what already exists, reduce resource extraction and planetary burdens. We contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and SDG 13 - Climate Action by implementing circular economy principles, reducing waste and treating paper as the precious resource it is.
By converting a large corrugated box into a smaller one, we keep the material in its highest value state for as long as possible. This "double win" protects the environment in two ways. 1) Upstream: It reduces the need for "virgin" paper and prevents forestry depletion. 2) Downstream: It avoids the energy-intensive processing required to break down and remanufacture recycled paper.
As the business continues to grow, we have started the formal process of a life cycle assessment and are working to achieve Cradle to Cradle Certified® status. We hope to share an update soon.

[rebox.eco] is competitively priced and offers a double win: a premium, award-winning circular solution that fulfills your ESG goals without the green premium price tag.
Marketplace benchmarking and our live case studies show this to be true. But we think of ourselves as a premium professional service rather than a discount commodity. Circularity by design requires the collection infrastructure and quality assurance to ensure every box is as reliable as a "new" one. Our pricing reflects the precision, technology, and care that goes into this transformation - from high-scrutiny sorting, high speed box conversion and precision laser marking.
When you choose [rebox.eco], you’re investing in a partner that can match your growth and value journey whilst also supporting your ESG goals.

We move from a conversation to physical prototypes and trial batches quickly, ensuring your transition to circularity is seamless and risk-free.
Our process is built on a customer-first philosophy. We don’t just sell and ship generic boxes from inventory. We work alongside you to find the perfect fit for your brand.
Evaluating Your Needs: We start with a friendly conversation to see if we can optimise your current packaging for circularity or create something new.
Design: Our experts ensure the packaging design is functional and perfectly aligned with your brand’s aesthetic.
Prototyping: We can build photo-realistic renders or augmented reality designs to share ideas quickly but as touch and feel are vital, we’ll get physical samples in your hands to test yourself.
Trialling: We offer small-batch testing or pilot programs to make sure it works seamlessly for you and your customers.
